Online Sports Injury Physiotherapy
Individual rehabilitation guidance for injury-related movement limits and a considered return to training.
* No payment required for the first consultation.

An injury or recurring overuse symptoms can interrupt training and everyday activity. FitMe Physio offers online assessment and exercise-based rehabilitation for suitable sports injuries. The plan considers your sport, current function and any medical restrictions, with further assessment when needed.
How is your injury and sporting activity assessed?
Your consultation considers the injury, your current activity and the demands of the sport or training you want to return to.
Review what happened
Discuss sudden injuries, overuse symptoms, training changes and any medical assessment or surgery.
Explore movement limits
Observe appropriate movements and discuss strength, confidence and tasks you currently cannot manage.
Agree rehabilitation goals
Plan suitable exercise guidance and discuss any need for further examination before returning to sport.
What does return-to-activity rehabilitation involve?
The plan builds around your assessment and the demands of your sport. Return to training is reviewed through function and symptoms, not a universal deadline.
- Movement, strength or balance exercises selected for the affected area.
- Advice on adapting training while rebuilding appropriate activity.
- Follow-up reviews of technique and readiness for more demanding tasks.
When does an injury need immediate examination?
Severe pain, major swelling or inability to use an injured limb needs prompt medical assessment. A changed limb shape, a cracking injury with suspected fracture, numbness or a cold or discoloured limb requires emergency care. Acute injuries may need imaging or hands-on tests before rehabilitation can be planned.
Prepare for your sports-injury consultation
Choose a safe space and avoid demonstrating a demanding sport movement before suitability is discussed.
- Describe your usual sport, training load and recent changes.
- Keep existing imaging, diagnosis and surgical restrictions available.
- List the movements or training tasks you want to regain.

Questions about sports physiotherapy online
Can I be cleared to play through a video session alone?
Return-to-sport decisions depend on the injury and required assessments. Some physical tests or medical clearance need in-person appointments.
Can rehabilitation address recurring overuse symptoms?
A consultation can review training demands, symptom patterns and function. Exercise and activity changes are then adapted to the assessment.
Will I need to stop training completely?
This depends on the injury and any medical restrictions. Discuss appropriate alternatives rather than continuing painful training or applying one rule to every problem.
Can online sessions support rehabilitation after surgery?
They may be suitable within your surgeon's rehabilitation plan. Restrictions and any required hands-on assessments continue to apply.
