Online Physiotherapy for Neck and Shoulder Pain
Individual assessment and guided exercise for neck stiffness, shoulder discomfort and difficulties with reaching or turning.
* No payment required for the first consultation.

Neck and shoulder discomfort can affect desk work, sleep, dressing and lifting. FitMe Physio offers video assessment and rehabilitation guidance adapted to your symptoms and movement. Your consultation also helps identify when a physical examination or other medical care is needed.
What happens during a neck and shoulder assessment?
Your physiotherapist reviews neck and shoulder symptoms together with the tasks they affect, such as turning your head, reaching or getting dressed.
Explain your symptoms
Discuss stiffness, arm symptoms, sleep, desk work and any injury or surgery.
Observe movement
Suitable movements on camera help identify your current limitations; some tests require a hands-on examination.
Agree a plan
Discuss activity goals, appropriate exercises and whether additional medical assessment is needed.
How can guided rehabilitation support you?
The exercise plan reflects your assessment and symptoms. A stiff shoulder, recent injury and ongoing neck discomfort can have different rehabilitation needs.
- Mobility and strengthening exercises adapted to your current range of movement.
- Advice on comfortable work positions, breaks and activities that aggravate symptoms.
- Follow-up reviews of reaching, turning, sleep and exercise technique.
When is an in-person examination needed?
Persistent neck pain with tingling or a cold arm needs medical advice. Seek urgent assessment for sudden severe shoulder pain, an arm you cannot move, major swelling or a change in shape after injury, persistent numbness or feeling feverish and unwell. Online exercises cannot replace assessment of a suspected fracture or dislocation.
Prepare for a video session
Choose a position where the camera can show your head, shoulders and arms clearly.
- Note which movements, work tasks or sleeping positions affect symptoms.
- Keep existing reports and surgery instructions to hand.
- Use comfortable clothing and avoid forcing painful movement to demonstrate a problem.

Questions about neck and shoulder physiotherapy
Can frozen shoulder rehabilitation be guided online?
Video sessions may support exercise guidance and progress reviews when suitable. Your physiotherapist considers pain, movement limits and whether a physical examination is required.
Will changing my desk setup solve neck pain?
Workstation comfort and movement breaks can be part of a plan. Assessment also considers your symptoms, activity and other factors; desk changes alone may not address the problem.
Should I exercise through arm numbness?
Report numbness, tingling or weakness before starting exercises. Persistent or new symptoms need medical assessment rather than simply increasing your routine.
How long does shoulder rehabilitation take?
The timeline depends on the condition, your current movement and response to treatment. Reviews focus on meaningful changes such as reaching and everyday function.
